Reality Check, our abstinence program is not just about educating the youth but about making positive life style choices, or providing straightforward answers about STDs, or explaining how premarital sex can wreak havoc on his or her physical, emotional and spiritual well-being,
Reality Check’s goal is to communicate to young people their intrinsic value and worth as individuals through fun and dynamic skits, testimonies, interactive discussions and role-playing presented in peer-to-peer format.
The format of Reality Check teen volunteers teaching, challenging and encouraging teens to save sex for marriage is very powerful indeed. In the process, Reality Check helps them identify their goals and dreams and to reach them by maintaining healthy boundaries in every area of their lives, most especially in the area of sexual behavior.
It is amazing that doctors, teachers, and other adults encourage young people to make healthy choices such as exercising, not smoking, saying “no” to drugs and alcohol, using sun block, and eating a well balanced diet. Yet they tell young people they can’t control their sexual urges and it’s unhealthy to try to do so? Because of the epidemic of STDs (sexually transmitted diseases) sexual behavior is truly a life and death issue. Many STDs can literally scar an individual for life, and a few of them are deadly. The possible physical repercussions of sex outside of marriage can be devastating, but they are far outweighed by the emotional and spiritual damage of shallow and selfish sexual pursuits. Reality Check empowers youth to be faithful to themselves, their beliefs and to respect self and others by committing to sexual purity.
The Reality Check’s goal is to provide young people with the tools they need to make choices that will bring them into healthy, satisfying and life-long relationships, that is, TOTAL SEXUAL FREEDOM with no guilt and no regrets.

Sexual integrity is expressing the gift of sexuality throughout life in a true, excellent, honest and pure way.
Sexual integrity helps us to be emotionally whole. When we are strong emotionally , we are able to protect ourselves from those who would use and abuse us. We are worth only the best.
Our bodies are designed to experience love, pleasure, unity, joy and intimacy in a specific context: marriage. Our sexuality is meant for one person. Choices can be made that are pure, healthy and wise.
Sexual integrity helps us build positive social relationships and reputations. No matter what we have done, no matter if we have a hard time believing we are a good person, making good choices will help us start believing we have value and with time we will start living a “good” life.
Living a life of sexual integrity encourages us to fill our minds and thoughts with things that will improve us. We can use our minds to achieve goals in life and say no to wrong choices. When our intellect is sharp we are more interesting and more engaging.
Since God created sex, he knows that if we begin to live with sexual integrity, we will be free to live life without guilt and shame. This has a tremendous positive impact on our spiritual lives. God loves us no matter what we do and he wants us to lead happy, healthy, pain-free lives. He knows that choosing to live with sexual integrity can help us get there.
